Hello readers, from the last post you guys probably thought I died or something at vegas huh? Well don’t worry Sol is live and doing well.

I have a lot of updating to do on this blog so for the meantime watch this video that we made for our church. Be nice to this video, I had only a day to think of the concept, shoot, and edit it. Hope you enjoy it.

to sol

Today is July 2, 2010 and is the day Sol Choi truly begins writing his blog every single day. I am writing this blog to prove my theory that Sol Choi’s inconsistency is the root of his shortcomings. By all means I have the utmost admiration for this guy. He knows how to be social and has a creative way of thinking that surpasses most people. So what is the purpose of this post?  It is to prove that Sol Choi has the ability to be a normal person. A person who can wake up everyday and do 1 simple task and that is to write in his blog everyday. Whether it be a short thought or a deep conviction, as long as it runs a daily course. Now writing a blog may seem like an easy task but because its something that has no structure and is written based on personal experiences and opinions, its actually is a lot harder than it seems. The blog is not what makes this task difficult, but the results from it. If Sol fails to do this, there is no one else to slap him on the head or throw a chair at him other than himself. If he does accomplish it, there is the issue of how much weight his opinions carry. This blog can be considered as a gossip site about someone who isnt famous…..yet. This is why a blog is perfect for this experiment. I hope that Sol can do this because it not only effects him but the people around him. Consistency can be the difference between success and failure, life and death, love and loneliness.

the studio

For those who doesn’t know, I live in my garage haha- It is pretty rad cause it feels a bit “studio-ish”  but  at night it gets really cold. Anyway so originally this is how my room, studio, garage whatever you want to call it- looked.

(“click” the image to see the “actual pixels“, this goes for all photos in blog, I know its obvious but some people still don’t know..)

You have to forgive my fifth grade blue print drawing of my room. The size of the objects isn’t hundred percent accurate but its close enough. And yes I do know I have a typo. The entrance is top between the dresser and frig and the bottom of the drawing is the garage door. So the idea was to split the room in half- a bedroom and a working area. I don’t like to see my bed while I work, its distracting. That is why I had my four book shelves go across in the middle of the room creating a wall. Now the problem is, my room feels small and stuffy. Then I realized I don’t even use my bed, I hardly ever sleep in my room. Why don’t I just take out the bed, I’ll have so much more room. My awesome friends –haha — was willing to help out rearrange my room.

This is how it looks now. I actually wanted to have my car sit in my room but my car creates way to much smog I’m going to head up poisoning myself.

David ( the one is the techno green shirt) was the director of this “rearranging room project” — the tetris man.

the overview

then my working area- bah I have to reorganize my stuff. Thanks guys for helping me do this. My “studio” is so roomy.
